Abstract

This research is a meta-analysis of the risk management practices applied in companies operating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It traces the methods and practices prevalent in the sample companies to tackle the impact of COVID-19. It is also focused and studies the planning, preparedness and effectiveness of risk managements practices under the influence of COVID-19 pandemic. The research methodology primarily uses questionnaire and interviews with risk management officials and executives as a main primary source of data. Since the companies in Saudi Arabia are found to be lacking in planning and preparation, one recommendation emerging from the study is that they should focus on managing operations risk, social risk and labour risk.
